When it is chilly out and we have tired of the usual indoor
pastimes, it is time to get creative.
I made a potato stamp to decorate the envelopes for our wedding. It was easy, pretty, and I luckily had a potato on hand when I decided that the envelopes needed some sprucing up.
To make, determine what kind of shape you want, or if that matters to you at all (it is okay to free form).
Cut a potato in half.
With a paring knife (talking to you adults now, this is not the kid-friendly part), carve out your desired shape.
Put some paint on a plate (I put multiple colors so I can swirl them together).
Stamp away (this is the kid-friendly part).
